Hello, my name is Carlos Barreto, and I am a teacher with experience in teaching English to children, teenagers, and adults, both in school settings and in personalized tutoring and advisory processes. I am characterized as a friendly, patient, and creative educator, focused on helping my students understand, practice, and use the language in real situations.

My methodology is practical and communicative. I work through everyday situations, games, images, videos, and dynamic activities that make understanding easier and reduce the fear of making mistakes. Each advisory session is adapted to the student’s level, pace, and needs, whether for homework support, exam preparation, grammar reinforcement, reading comprehension, or guided conversation practice.

In my classes, I prioritize active participation, meaningful learning, and constant guidance. I aim for students not only to memorize, but to understand and apply what they learn in real contexts. I use clear explanations, simple examples, and varied activities to keep motivation high during each virtual session.

I have experience working with different ages and levels, which allows me to adjust my strategies to each profile. I have supported processes of academic improvement, exam preparation, and strengthening of communication skills. My goal is for each student to progress with confidence, security, and enjoyment of the language, achieving visible results in their academic and communicative performance.

I offer digital materials, continuous follow-up, and clear feedback, so that each advisory session is useful, organized, and motivating, strengthening the student’s autonomy and their ability to learn independently and responsibly at all times.
