Dr. Suzanne Ondrus has over 30 years’ university teaching experience in the U.S. and overseas. Her teaching approach is to tap into students’ interests in order to motivate, engage, and encourage speaking. Conversant in a wide range of topics, she has students actively use English in her classes for real-world scenarios. She has taught English in Russia, West Africa, and Colombia. She holds a Teaching English as a Second Language certificate from Arizona State University and has pedagogical trainings from several universities. Her doctorate is in Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies from The University of Connecticut. She also holds a B.A. in International Business and Management. Her hobbies are gardening, cooking pastries, foreign films, reading, and writing. She is an award-winning poet with two books.
