John Maxwell

Hi! My name is John, also known as Teacher John from Canada. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I now live in Veracruz, Mexico, where I’m a teacher of business English and English exam prep.

About 3 years ago, after a career of over 30 years in various aspects of business communications, I decided to pursue my other passion, which is teaching English as a second language, something I’d enjoyed doing as a volunteer for many years. I love teaching because it’s an exciting new phase in my long career as a communicator, a chance to see and hear, in real time, how my students are succeeding in their English-learning journey.

I hope to use my life experience with the English language to help you succeed in business, client services, call centers and exam prep. Let’s talk soon!
