Juan Anddando

Hi everyone! My name is Juan, nice meeting you all. Thank you for your time and having reached my profile. I am passionate about travel and human beings, a pseudo-nomad and anthropologist, specializing in teaching Spanish as a second language, in service and sharing with all kinds of people. From a very young age I began to travel the world and to research human culture, its different languages ??and forms of communication. In my lessons you will find a balance between theory and practice under my own personalized teaching method, with which you will learn through different ways of sharing and that will allow you to learn Spanish according to your own interests, your needs and your life experience, in addition to learning a little more about yourself.

After graduating as an anthropologist in Colombia in 2007, I decided to specialize myself in teaching Spanish as a second language in Spain so that I could continue my human research journey while teaching something useful to people willing to learn about Latin and Spanish-speaking culture. I have worked formally in universities, language institutes and public and private foundations, as well as independently in houses, hostels and various places where I have lived, mainly in Colombia. For the past 3 years I have been teaching remotely through Preply while traveling around South America, so it is not unusual for my students to find me in all kinds of places and accompany me to learn more about the continent through our classes and conversations.

My courses are completely personalized; I firmly believe that each person learns in their own way and at their own pace. My experience working with a wide variety of students from all over the world, combined with the years I have spent studying psychology and human behavior, allows me to focus on each person's virtues, interests, and strengths in order to make the most of their potential and time, ensuring a balance between grammar and conversation.
