Animal Rights Riddles Activity: Spend some time learning about this

Hola a todos!! Les dejo esta actividad para que se diviertan y practiquen su Inglés.

Humans take my children away from me when they are born, Humans take me to reduced and confined places for almost all my life, Humans make me eat a lot of grains and drink tons of water so I can give them a product that is designed for my children, but they Take it away because they love it and people pay money for all this. This product people love it in almost all their meals. Usually for eating their cereal

Who am I?

Every day I’m in the same place, in the same area because I can’t go home. Every day I’m fed for doing things I usually don’t do when I’m free. Every day, humans train me to move, jump or carry other humans for their fun, but not for mine. Every day people pay money for keeping me in these conditions. Every day I feel like

escaping but my captors don’t let me. My captors say I’m really smart, but they say they are smarter and I always think to myself: “If they are that smart, why do they keep me like this for all my life?” I’m usually grey and I can swim really fast if my captors free me.

Who am I?

People think is funny to ride me to look glamorous or romantic with their couples, but I work long hours and I faint almost every day because people want to ride me and share “love” with my suffering. I’m a slave because I work almost 24/7 and when I can’t work anymore, people throw me away like garbage in the street. I can be found in Cartagena.

Who am I?

When I’m born people think I’m the cutest in the world and buy me in places where cute ones like me are over-procreated to receive economic benefits. When people buy me, they use me to procreate more and cuter ones like me and get more money. When people who bought me get bored with me, they take me out to the streets where I suffer every day for getting food and water. They say I’m humans’ best friend… but I think humans are not my best friends.

Who am I?

I’m smarter than dogs, and I can be as cute as they are. But people don’t pet me. People eat me because they love the taste of my meat and usually my skin. But people don´t know that when I’m born, I’m separated from my mother so I can be raised to have children all the time without resting. They impregnated me (which is a “good” word for rape) all the time. When I’m physically tired, they send me to the slaughter house so you can enjoy “your” (it’s not yours is my skin!) bacon.

Who am I?

I need my hair to keep me warm. But people raise me to grow my hair so they can use it to warm their body parts. It is difficult for me to produce this material in the way they want to. When they want my hair they take it away in a brutal way and lots of times my skin is ripped out and worms grow in my skin. My hair is really soft and white. Looks like cotton but when I can’t give them my hair any longer they sell me and send me to the slaughter house.

Who am I?

Imagine this: You are walking normally in your neighbourhood trying to enjoy your day and life and suddenly you see a nice apple in a tree that you would like to eat… but when you try to reach it, something takes out from your arm and takes you out from the atmosphere where you start to suffocate and you can breathe. This is what happens to me more or less when I’m in the ocean. What is worst is that some people think is “funny” to do it. Or some other ones think it is a “sport”. I guess you wouldn’t like this, would you? I have fins to swim and gills to swim.

Who am I?

I have to fly a lot of miles to eat pollen’s flowers. The more pollen I get the more food I can take home. When I get home, I take all this pollen and I vomit it into my queen’s palace. But after all this travesy, people take away my vomit and eat it. I think it is disgusting eating another species’ vomit. I eat it because it is what I eat. I make possible you eat fruits and vegetables. If I disappear everything collapses. But if humans disappear everything gets better.
